Terre de Provence - 2022

Isabelle and Alain d'Aubreby have found their happiness in this guest house formula with, in season, a charming table in the garden or in the pretty room of the Bastide. A peaceful swimming pool, old stone walls and a green garden with a view of the village of Flayosc just a stone's throw away. Here, you are welcomed as if you were among friends. Isabelle and Alain's welcome makes the difference. You will enjoy lounging in the sun, reading in the shade of the mulberry trees and plane trees in the park. The rooms breathe the Provence we love. Sunny colours, light, a cocooning atmosphere. At the table, Alain cooks as he feels like it. A short menu, as many local products as possible, a simple cuisine with reduced juices, olive oil as a guiding principle, greed. In short, everything we like. Nearby, the Var villages of Tourtour, Salernes, Lorgues... authentic Provence at a reasonable price.

L’accueil d’Isabelle et Alain d’Aubreby, les propriétaires de cette bastide provençale de pierres blondes située en contrebas du village, est toujours charmant, les chambres sont confortables et décorées avec goût aux couleurs de la Provence, la vaste terrasse ombragée de mûriers-platanes et chênes verts centenaires sert d’écrin pour le petit déjeuner aux beaux jours, le parc est verdoyant, la piscine avec solarium offre une vue sur le village. De l’hôtellerie-restauration à la chambre d’hôtes, le cheminement n’est pas si fréquent. Depuis trois saisons, Isabelle et Alain d’Aubreby ont franchi ce pas avec bonheur. A cinq minutes à pied, en contrebas du village, leur bastide illustre une Provence de charme à la décoration sobre et lumineuse et au parfait confort. Huit chambres comme autant de belles images, calme, espace, jardin, belle terrasse ombrée de chênes et mûriers-platanes, piscine, vue sur Flayosc et les collines du haut Var… Accueil charmant.

Downwards from the village, and a 5 minutes walk away, the charming little hotel hosted for the past 30 year by Isabelle and Alain d’Aubéry has been turned into a Bed and Breakfast since last year. Their welcome is still as charming, the rooms are comfortable and decorated with taste, the spacious deck under the mulberry-planes and centenary oaks is the hub for breakfasts during the warm season, the garden is lush, the swimming-pool with sun-deck have a view on the old village… What more can one ask for?
